Safeguarding at Holmer Green Senior School
At Holmer Green Senior School, we are committed to providing a safe, supportive and inclusive environment where every student can thrive. Safeguarding is at the heart of everything we do, ensuring that all students feel secure, respected and protected from harm.
We believe that every child has the right to feel safe and be supported to achieve their full potential. Our safeguarding culture promotes openness, trust and wellbeing, encouraging students to seek help whenever they need it. Our policies and procedures follow the statutory guidance set out in Keeping Children Safe in Education (KCSIE) and comply with all local and national safeguarding requirements.

How We Can Help
Our safeguarding team is here to listen, support and guide students, families and members of our wider school community. We take all concerns seriously and are committed to ensuring that every child receives the help they need at the earliest opportunity.
While we will always handle information sensitively and with care, we cannot guarantee confidentiality where a child’s safety or wellbeing may be at risk. Any information shared with us will be acted upon in the best interests of the child and, where necessary, may be shared with external agencies to secure appropriate support and protection.
We are committed to keeping students informed, wherever possible, about any actions we need to take and ensuring they feel supported throughout the process.
If you are worried about a child, please contact the Safeguarding Team immediately.
